Dr._Justin_D.W._Nye.jpgHi, I am Dr. Justin Nye and I grew up in  a small town in central South Dakota called Miller.  I did my undergraduate studies at the Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD where I attained a Bachelor’s degree specializing in Biology and Chemistry. While enjoying my 4 years at Northern, I was able to be part of the Northern Football team. After tearing my ACL twice and dealing with knee pain, I decided to hang up my jersey and continue on with finding my purpose.

While growing up, I learned about the benefits of Chiropractic as I was faced with a painful condition called Osteochondritis Dissecans. Along with finding the physical benefits, I was highly influenced by my grandfather, who was a Chiropractor in South Dakota for 41 years. I grew up learning that it is crucial for the nervous system to function at a 100%, which is critical for the functioning of everything else in the body. So, to pursue my purpose, I attained a Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and became certified by the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic in 2008. I completed my internship at Northern Life Chiropractic and decided to stay after graduation and become a part of the best chiropractic team in the Midwest.

We are a family here and treat every practice member like family. I absolutely love being a chiropractor. I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. I thank God every day for the ability to help my patients obtain their health goals and for the many great opportunities to continue my purpose. Our office has a responsibility to educate our practice members so that they can tap into the enormous healing capacity that their own bodies have. In doing so, every patient has the ability to reach their full health potential. On a personal side, I love the outdoors whether it be hiking, biking, hunting, or fishing, I also love to exercise and participate in a variety of sports. My wife, Christy, is a Dental Hygienist, who loves the benefit of me being a Chiropractor, especially with her profession. We have one son, Elijah John who was just born October 2008, and a boxer named Cairo. Thanks for visiting our site. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how I may be of service to you. Give my office a call or email me using the link below and let’s arrange a time to explore your health options.

Dr._Jonathan_M._Ploeger.jpg

Greetings,  I'm Dr. Jonathan  M. Ploeger and I grew up in Ramsey, Minnesota a small town north of Anoka.  I graduated from St. John’s University in the spring of 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology.  While at St. John’s I played for the SJU soccer team as well as playing for the Minnesota Sambas, was actively involved in the Biology club, Resident Assistant Program, and was a leader for Alternative Spring Break service trips.  Upon finishing my degree from St. John’s early, I finished my studies abroad at The University College Cork, Cork Ireland.  While in Ireland I continued to play for the UCC soccer team and traveled Europe

From there I went on to complete my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in the fall of 2007.  While at NWHSU I participated in many clubs, was elected to the student senate, and worked as a teacher’s aid for the neurology and radiology departments.

Some of the activities I enjoy at my leisure are being an avid outdoorsman with my family and friends.  Recently, I traded in my cleats for a new passion… running marathons.  This fall I completed my first, the Twin Cities Marathon.  I also truly enjoy spending time with his wife Sarah (also a Chiropractor) and miniature dachshund Floyd.  I hope to be able to travel the world with my wife and complete the Western States 100 Ultra Marathon in 2010.

Ultimately, my purpose in life is to love, lead, and pioneer. My passion lies in being able to show others how they can achieve all they want and desire through natural preventative health care.  The human body is an amazing machine and when its control center (the nervous system) functions well, we function well.  I’m always looking to improve my means of service and so I plan on furthering my education in the near future so that I may help pioneer my profession and serve others better.  My life dream is to coach individuals with "The Masters Circle" so they too can achieve all the successes I have had and will have to come.  Thanks for reading and I can’t wait to meet you and help guide you down the path to your goals!
